Woah. Ridiculous. I haven't read anyone else's replies yet. But I'm posting
mine.

As regards the fanclub - the cost of it is a little bit high indeed and your
opinions on that are not what I'm going to talk about in this mail.

But how can you dare say that you feel cheated that you weren't kept updated
about the members of Garbage's private lives? WE have no right, no claim, no
need, nothing. We're fans. We take what we're given right and why? Cos we
like a band because they make music. The band owe us something because of
our obsessive fandom? Yeah, maybe they owe us respect but they do not owe us
every detail of their lives. That's an overly intrusive and incredibly
immature ascertaintion. I didn't even read all your email. I just read some
of it and it made me so angry. What makes any of us think we deserve these
things? Why do we think we deserve to know it? Maybe we want to be kept up
to date. We want to know things. But wanting to be involved with every
aspect is very different that having the right to it.

I have spent hundreds, thousands of pounds on Garbage but I did it because I
fell in love with the music when I was younger. All Garbage owe me is that
music. They don't owe me their problems, their issues, their love.

This has come out as a spew. I may apologise for being so abrasive later but
right now, I'm amused.

xx
