[Introspective] Re: naming bands and a Trivia Question

On the bootleg interview disc CBAK 4021, Chris and the interviewer both ask
Neil about "Love is Strange".  He says it is by the Everly Brothers and also
Buddy Holly.  He then sings a couple of lines of the song to help Chris
recognise it.

I think, compared to some of the things I have seen discussed here, that
this is a relatively interesting topic but it seems to have dragged on a
bit.

Erm...have you heard of such a thing as the flow of the lyrics and music?
The line couldn't go "Songs like Tainted Love and Strange Love" because that
would not sound good.

Anyway, we can't really know - even Neil may not have had a specific song in
mind. If he did, there are several "Love is Strange"s to choose from, as
well as the ones you mention.

I think this relatively uninteresting discussion has gone on far too long :)
But it's nice to see some activity on this list again.
