Actually, I'm surprised, as this isn't what was agreed with the label. There
is so promotion planned for the greatest hits, and we really wanted to open
the site up for free -- however, the label weren't so keen. They wanted
everyone to pay up again if they wanted to see the new stuff (which is
frankly stupid). The last discussion we had everything was going to be left
as it was, except that auto-renewal was being taken off of all accounts.

Has anyone who was set to renew their account at Garbage.com got access to 
it like they did before without paying? I ask because someone has posted on 
my forum that they were locked out then contacted the support people and now

have full access for free. They claim that if you contact support you can 
get your account reopened. I cancelled mine before it expired and the 
support haven't replied to my email asking for access if it is the case that

the accounts are now free.
