I believe it was in 2001 (maybe end of 2000, I can't actually remember) that
I became most involved with Trash Talk. I was 14/15 anyway. I was at school,
living in the country, very messed up (as I'm sure the story runs for most
people) and desperately dreading the idea of what I thought I was going to
have to become and do etc. And my music taste was generally rock and indie.

Anyway, I'm now 20. I'm a student in Belfast, moving to Paris in September
for a year. But most importantly to me, I've become involved in music how I
want to be or at least I'm making a good start. I work as a print music
journalist for various publications in the UK; I became involved with radio.
I work also part time in events and gigs in one of the main venues here.
It's great. I'm constantly surrounded by music, listening to new stuff and
I've broadened my horizons to the exciting world (:P) of electro and techno
and breakbeat etc. About damn time. So yeah, I can now see a career in music
is possible and so it's great. I've interviewed so many bands that I
respect, and a load that I don't. Yeah, it's all about music.
