Friday
When I was a little girl I used to like to eat the head off burnt matches 
because I really loved the salty, carbon taste for some reason. Needless to 
say it's an unbelievably unhealthy habit and for the most part I now have it 
under control but this morning as I was lighting some candles, I blew out 
the match and immediately my saliva glands went into overtime and I could 
feel the compulsion to do it again.Mercifully I had the willpower not to but 
isn't that bizarre?!?!?! I wonder if I need to consult a doctor!!!!!!!

This bit made me giggle cos I know what it's like.......... I've always 
loved the taste of burnt matches. No, Shirley, you don't have to see a 
doctor!! I've asked, and eating burnt matches is not really dangerous. It's 
quite tasty...... *mouth gets all watery* It's sort of like salt 
liqorish(sp?), but the salt is mild and there's no real liqorish taste..... 
Don't really know how to describe it, it has to be experienced. Yum yum.. I 
have my habit under control, tho. Don't eat it all that much anymore. Just 
every now and then.
