i am a assistant audio engineer...
you want a comp for music? you should have a HD for audio only, no 
applications and it should be 10000 rpms... SCSI is the way to go... trust 
me...
and you want a MAC... they are built for audio use... hence... PRO TOOLS...
MACs are the way to go...
the G5's just came out sooo you can get some sweet deals on G4 systems...
