The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors whether they liked the Pet Shop Boys' 1993 song "One and One
Make Five" (chosen because it seems to be a relatively unpopular song among
fans) and, if not, what was it about the song they didn't like? And the
option that received the most votes was:

* "Yes, I do like it!" picked by a majority of fans, 59.2%.

Of those who said that they didn't like the song (16.5%), more than half
said that they didn't like it for a combination of reasons. To see the
complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the left navigation bar.

My first poll of the new year actually looks back on the year that has just
ended. I'm wondering how you would rate 2010 as a "Pet Shop Boys year."
Would you say that it was one of their best years? One of their worst? An
average PSB year? Or something else. Please feel free to use whatever
criteria you prefer to determine how good a year it was for them. And when
you're ready, please make your choice from the options provided right there
on my home page.

Thanks to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I wish you all a
great first week of 2011!

Wayne
