Has anyone else had trouble even *playing* the Minimal DVD? When it was 
released I happily played it a few times and ripped the audio from it. Then 
I went to re-rip it using the same DVD drive; didn't work. Tried my other 
drive; didn't work. Tried a DVD recorder; worked. Tried another DVD player; 
didn't work. Tried another drive in a different PC; worked but not without 
problems.

There's no evidence of disc rot or damage but there's definitely something 
suspect happening. I wondered if the transparent portion confuses the 
hardware but I don't see why since the discs are read outwards from the 
centre.
