>From the point of view of a gay boy/man, "Nervously" is one of the most
lyrically pointed songs they have ever written. Not to mention how
beautiful the music is. "The end of the world" is a perfect follow-up tune.
Joyful: full of energy. Makes one forget the 'nervousness' of eyeing the
boy across the bar and just get out onto the dance floor and 'shake that
groove thang'.

I find it hard to rate *any* of their songs much below 5. About the only
tracks I would put at 1 or 2 would be "The sound of the atom splitting"
(which I appreciate for what it is, but it's not much of a 'song' IMO) and
"What keeps mankind alive" which just doesn't have that special PSB sound,
again IMO.

Really want to rate the mixes of certain songs, such as "I wouldn't normally
do this kind of thing." The Voxigen mix is one of the greatest pieces of
music they have ever released, but the album version is just okay.

I suppose many will rate "Disco potential" fairly low, but since it came out
the song has grown on me quite a bit. I realize I am contradicting myself
somewhat, since DP doesn't really have that special PSB sound either.

the contradictor,
