Disco 3 - 12 November 02
Six months after the release of 'Please' in 1986, its dance-remix =
companion 'Disco' followed. In 1994, 'Very' was followed by 'Disco 2'. =
So in February 2003, 'Release' will be followed by 'Disco 3'.

However, unlike the first two 'Disco' albums, 'Disco 3' will include new =
dance tracks recorded during the 'Release' sessions. The full =
track-listing is as follows.

1. Time on my hands

2. Postive role model

3. Try it (I'm in love with a married man)

4. London (Thee Radikal Blaklite Edit)

5. Somebody else's business

6. Here (PSB new extended mix)

7. If looks could kill

8. Sexy Northerner (Superchumbo mix)

9. Home and dry (Blank and Jones mix)

10. London (Genuine Piano mix)

'Positive role model' and 'Somebody else's business' were recorded in =
Berlin with Chris Zippel at the same time as 'London'.

'Try it (I'm in love with a married man)' is Pet Shop Boys' version of a =
1983 Bobby 'O' song. A different version was heard on Radio One's John =
Peel Show a few weeks ago.

'If looks could kill' is a new recording of a PSB song also heard on the =
John Peel Show.

'Time on my hands' was written and recorded at the end of 2000 and =
recently completed and mixed. It features vocals by both Chris Lowe and =
Neil Tennant.

'Disco 3' will be released internationally by Parlophone/EMI in =
early/mid February. A limited edition, three-disc vinyl version will =
also be issued with an enhanced track-listing including an extended mix =
of 'Somebody else's business' and the WestBam remix of 'London'. Full =
details to be announced shortly.=20

Call me sceptical, but is this for real? - who with any senses left would
call Here and the Piano Mix of London to be _dance_-tracks?????? (or for
that matter - disco - tracks???!?!?!)

This sounds fantastic. A much more exciting tracklisting than Disco or Disco
2. Does anyone know anything about 'Time on my hands'? I don't recall
reading about it. Too bad they left off 'You've got to start somewhere'.
Maybe they are saving that for the greatest hits. I'm guessing 'A powerful
friend' will turn up as a b-side sometime.

Disco 3 - 12 November 02
Six months after the release of 'Please' in 1986, its dance-remix companion
'Disco' followed. In 1994, 'Very' was followed by 'Disco 2'. So in February
2003, 'Release' will be followed by 'Disco 3'.

However, unlike the first two 'Disco' albums, 'Disco 3' will include new
dance tracks recorded during the 'Release' sessions. The full track-listing
is as follows.

1. Time on my hands

2. Postive role model

3. Try it (I'm in love with a married man)

4. London (Thee Radikal Blaklite Edit)

5. Somebody else's business

6. Here (PSB new extended mix)

7. If looks could kill

8. Sexy Northerner (Superchumbo mix)

9. Home and dry (Blank and Jones mix)

10. London (Genuine Piano mix)

'Positive role model' and 'Somebody else's business' were recorded in Berlin
with Chris Zippel at the same time as 'London'.

'Try it (I'm in love with a married man)' is Pet Shop Boys' version of a
1983 Bobby 'O' song. A different version was heard on Radio One's John Peel
Show a few weeks ago.

'If looks could kill' is a new recording of a PSB song also heard on the
John Peel Show.

'Time on my hands' was written and recorded at the end of 2000 and recently
completed and mixed. It features vocals by both Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant.

'Disco 3' will be released internationally by Parlophone/EMI in early/mid
February. A limited edition, three-disc vinyl version will also be issued
with an enhanced track-listing including an extended mix of 'Somebody else's
business' and the WestBam remix of 'London'. Full details to be announced
shortly.

We got at least *one* masterpiece in here, which is track
9. Home and dry (Blank and Jones mix)

And that was quite the only thing that made the piece of plastic worth it

Yes; along the lines of what *not* to do, I hope they don't mega-mix it and
the individual tracks are kept separate, a la the original Disco, not Disco
2. I'm afraid I cna't agree with the idea that the Blank and Jones mix of
HaD is a masterpiece -- it's mouldy cheesy to me -- but I think that's an
apt description of the(e) Radikal Blaklite mix of "London.". I may be alone
here though: almost everyone else on PSB fan forums copmlained endlessly
about the "London" mixes. I actually thought the mixes disc was much better
than the b-sides one, and the Blaklite mixes would be among the best PSB
have ever had, were it not for the fact that none of the vocals are on it.
Felix did a better job with that mix than he did with most of his own songs
on his Kittenz and thee Glitz album, imvho.

Yes, they're listed - but as bootleg issues, so congratulations to the idiot

But Disco 1 and Disco 2 are full with disco/dance-tracks, no slowies
there... -
and it still doesn't justify putting 'Here' there...
