[trash-talk] I may be a pest pointing this out... BUT

I do agree that too many people are getting on their high horse about such
things. Generally it is those who already have access to the music without
needing to download it that seem quick to preach. I understand sites like
Garbage Disco saying not to post links to things because that can get them
in trouble as well but I don't understand people looking negatively on other
Garbage fans who choose to download and share. When I first got the
internet, I was 11 years old. I'd been into Garbage for 3 years but the idea
of buying all the singles and such was alien to me because I couldn't afford
it. I downloaded all the b-sides from the internet and it was another 2-3
years before I managed to actually get all the singles. I don't think there
was anything wrong with that.

Even now, I would have no shame in downloading Space Can Come Through Anyone
- I still haven't heard that song - it's just laziness that means I haven't
downloaded it. I don't feel guilty whatsoever by downloading music. Hey, I'm
the one committing the crime if it's me doing it (although admittedly I
haven't in a long time. I don't remember the last thing I downloaded at
all... Hmm... :/). So if my downloading bothers you - do me a favour, keep
it to yourself. I'll deal with the consequences and my own conscience.
