Hey hey! So I've kept quiet for quite a while b/c for some reason I just wasn't processing the fact that Garbage was releasing a new album. Maybe b/c I'm in San Antonio, Texas, the armpit for anything that's not Mexican. Plus this is the first album that I hadn't downloaded. 
 
So I woke up extra early this morning to go to SuperTarget to get the album before i went to class. So I went to the CD section and this guy was putting out stuff but I see no Garbage and I started to freak out. So I asked him if they were putting out the stuff released today and he asked me what I was looking for and I told him. He walked off to the storage area and returned 5 minutes later with a huge stack of new Garbage CDs. I grabbed one from him and just stood there looking at it in my hand and I got SOOO FRIGGIN EXCITED!!!!! I practically skipped to the checkout line and was in the process of opening it as the checkout lady scanned it. It only cost $10.78!! 
After that I walked to the Starbucks in the Target and ordered while ripping all the plastic and stickers off of it and the girl who took my order saw the CD and was like 'ohmigosh where did you get that???' And I told her it was just released today and she started to get excited and said she'd probably see it later when another girl came in b/c that girl was obsessed with Shirley Manson. Then she told the Starbucks dude that I had a new Garbage CD and he got all excited and started saying how he loves all of Garbage's songs and asked if any of the new stuff was being played. I had to tell him regrettably how much San Antonio sucks thus he would never hear anything about them here. Both of them kept laughing at me b/c I had the biggest smile on my face b/c I was sooo friggin excited!!!!!!! 
I got to listen to the first 7 songs on my way to school and now I'm sitting in the library, supposed to be writing a paper on Greece listening to the rest of it and e-mailing yall. 
 
I would just like to express my jealously to all you people that live in cool cities that have these Garbage listening parties, play Garbage on the radio, and actually get Garbage conerts. I  heard Why Do You Love Me on the radio when I was in Columbus Ohio over spring break. First time I'd  heard Garbage on the radio in 3 years. 
 
SO HOORAY FOR GARBAGE'S NEW ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
