[Trash-talk] Shirley on MTV Europe Music Awards

There is a new story up on NME.com saying that the White Stripes and The Darkness are going to perform @ the MTV Europe Music Awards now, too. http://www.nme.com/news/story.htm?ID=106492

It doesn't mention our beloved Shirley in the rundown of performers and presenters, but says that the event will be broadcast live on MTV UK and MTV Ireland on November 6 at 8pm !

  I just saw annunciation on German mtv that our beloved Shirley will
  make appearance on EMAs in Edinburgh.
  So I checked and here's what they say:

        STARRING...



        Justin, Neptunes, Ludacris Join Edinburgh Stars

        Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of production geniuses The Neptunes will join supermodel Naomi Campbell and rappers Chingy and Ludacris as celebrity presenters at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2003.

        Texas singer and Scottish native Sharleen Spiteri also joins previously announced presenters Shirley Manson, Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro at MTV Europe's 10th annual awards ceremony coming to Edinburgh on November 6th.

        The event, which will be hosted by Christina Aguilera, (ay carrrrramba! wonder what will Shirl' say of this...hope her lawyers tell her to be good girl ;))  will also feature live performances from Beyonce, Dido, Kylie Minogue, Pink, Sean Paul, The Chemical Brothers featuring the Flaming Lips and local heroes Travis.
