[Trash-talk] abandoned pools opinion on Garbage and their audience

It really annoyed me to read what Tommy had to say about Dallas. Who 
does he think he is to disrupt a show like that? Whatever.

I don't know if the other band members at the time felt the same, from 
what Alan said maybe they did, but I just thought it wasn't good to 
attribute this thought about Garbage fans to all of Abandoned Pools. 
Tommy has the exact same statement in his journal on the AP website, 
"they're Shirley fans" and I got rather cranky about it then too when it 
was first posted. It's true, but just way too general. I certainly never 
heard AP on the radio here, and it seems to me in the past the US would 
get a boring opening band for G and the UK would get a good one, IMO, 
and yet the UK fans would always hate their opening act ;) and I was 
happy to be hearing a decent band for once. I think AP had the most 
positive talk on here and in reviews for an opening band. So for him to 
think we're not music fans is pretty crappy.

So yep, I just wanted to post saying I put it on Tommy, not the whole 
band which isn't even the same anymore anyway, and that Leah will 
probably be touring with Conjure One in September. Conjure One is Rhys 
Fullber from Delerium/Front Line Assembly, they've been working 
together, and he's trying to get Poe on the tour too. It'll be cool to 
see rockin' chicks together.

Does anyone have the Dallas/Houston Garbage DVDs? Looking for trades ;)
