Field's "Red Carpet-ready on Oscar Night" article has a "day in the life"
sort of storyline, and there's one part of the entries that mentions
Shirley:

It's four hours into the ceremony. Huge screens are showing the Oscars all
around the Marquee, and Nicole Kidman's about to win one of the biggest
awards of the evening. I'm sitting next to Shirley Manson and opposite R&B
singer Eve. On the next table is Elton John and Anastasia and dotted around
the room there's a mix of industry bods and seriously chic women.
