Yeah, her persona and fighting spirit are what have kept me going a lot of
the time - not so much the supervixen part (since I'm male) but the total
wild exuberance of Shirley (sometimes) really gets me up and running if I'm
down .. if I'm playing an interview or something especially.
I used to bombard my ex-roomie with tons of Garbage stuff all the time and
our little roomie joke thing came from an older interview with the band,
where the interviewer asked the band if there were any local talents that
they were really into and Shirley burst forth excitedly and said 'HEADPUMP!'
and so then for some reason we would always go 'HEADPUMP!' and crack up. You
probably had to be there but it's total Shirley takeover in an otherwise
non-G-related situation.

Well HUZZAH! I guess I can be bowed down to tooooooo. So that's my new
year's resolution. To become like the grasshopper before transforming into
the supervixen. And it will happen! I can feel it!

> Happy (nearly) new year everyone!!

Happy new year to you too Emma! Thank you for posting cuz it was
inspirational educational and made the TT world remain intact in a time of
no posts and major Shirley-and-the-G-men withdrawal (for me anyway). I hope
they're having a nice holiday time too.

xxoo,
Alan
