Tomorrow (Saturday) is the last full day of my current poll, which lists all of the Pet Shop Boys' single b-sides since May 2005 and asks you to pick the ones that you actually prefer to their respective a-sides. If you haven't made your choices yet, please take a few moments to visit my "Commentary" site at http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and place your votes right there on my home page. On Sunday I will end this poll, post the final results, and launch a new survey for the next two weeks. Thanks to everyone who has already voted! And I hope you all have a terrific weekend! And the b-side that received the most votes -- the only one, in fact, preferred by a majority of the voters, was: * "A Certain 'Je Ne Sais Quoi'," one of the b-sides of "Winner," which was chosen by 53.5% of the voters. To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and select one of the "Past Survey Results" options from the top navigation bar or click the appropriate link on my "What's New?" page. My new survey for the next two weeks is inspired by the recent announcement on the official PSB website about MUSIK, the upcoming cabaret show collaboration of the Boys with Jonathan Harvey and Frances Barber. I've listed assorted distinct opinions -- pro, con, and neutral -- about this news and I'm asking you to choose the one(s) with which you happen to agree. It should prove interesting! ;-) In the meantime, thanks to everyone who voted in my previous survey! And I hope you all have a wonderful two weeks ahead! And the response that received the largest number of votes was: * "While I have no strong feelings about this particular endeavor, I'm in favor of anything that means new Tennant-Lowe music," chosen by 36.7% of the voters. My new poll for the next two weeks is one of my occasional questions in which I compile a small set of PSB songs that share some "random" characteristic in common and ask you to pick your favorite. In some ways questions like this are rather silly, but I've always believed that being silly now and then is a good thing. Whatever the case, I've listed the twelve PSB/Tennant-Lowe songs with "night" in their titles. I'd like for you to choose the one you like most. So please take a few moments to check them out right there on my home page and, when you're ready, make your choice. In the meantime, thanks to everyone who voted in my previous survey! And I hope you all have a great two weeks ahead!
