The final results are in for my poll of the past week, in which I asked
my site visitors whether they agree with a recent statement made by one
of them (that is, my site visitors) that "it's all about money" for the
Pet Shop Boys these days. And the response that received the largest
number of votes was:

* "No, certainly not! They're surely well off enough financially that
they could retire very comfortably right now, so clearly other factors
motivate them instead," picked by 45.7% of the voters.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and either select one of the "Past
Survey Results" options from the top navigation bar or click the
appropriate link on my "What's New?" page.

My new poll for the week ahead is based on the concept that there are a
good many similarities between PSB and another famed hitmaking synthpop
duo of the 1980s and the decades since, Erasure. One of my site visitors
suggested that I ask you to pick the Pet Shop Boys single that is most
"Erasuresque" -- that is, the most like Erasure. Even if you honestly
don't think any PSB singles are "Erasuresque," it's only a matter of
logic that, despite any and all differences, some must be more "like"
Erasure than others. So please take a moment to make your choice right
there on my home page. And thanks to Chico Dorito for proposing this
question!

And thanks to everyone who voted in last week's survey! I hope you all
have a terrific week ahead!
