The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors their opinions in various ways of the Pet Shop Boys songs
that Neil and/or Chris themselves have indicated that they don't much
care for. And the songs that received the most votes were:

* "So Hard," picked as their song of the group by 33.0% of the voters,
* "What Keeps Mankind Alive?" chosen as the least favorite by 41.8%,
* "So Hard," picked as the one that most surprised them as not being
liked by Chris and/or Neil by 36.8%, and
* "So Hard," selected as "the most quintessentially PSB" of the batch by
37.8%.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and select one of the "Past Survey
Results" options in the top navigation bar, or click the appropriate
link on my "What's New?" page.

My new survey for the week ahead is a fairly unusual one in which I'm
asking you the extent to which you believe Neil's upbringing in the
Catholic Church has been a theme of and/or an influence on the Pet Shop
Boys' songs. So please take a moment to make your choice from options
provided right there on my home page. And thanks to Miney for suggesting
this intriguing question.

Thanks as well to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I hope
you all have a wonderful week ahead!

Wayne
