The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors what they believe to be the single biggest reason for the poor
performance of the the Pet Shop Boys' most recent single "Together" on the
UK charts. And the reason that received the largest number of votes was:

* "It was marketed and/or promoted poorly," selected by 25.3% of the voters.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the left navigation bar.

My new poll for the week ahead also concerns "Together" as well as several
other recently released PSB tracks: "Glad All Over," "I Cried for Us," and
"Night Song." It's the latest round of my ongoing "Rating Project," in which
I ask my site visitors to rate PSB songs on a scale of 0 to 10 as to how
they compare with other PSB songs, with 0 meaning "one of their very worst
songs," 5 meaning "an average PSB song," and 10 meaning "one of their very
best songs." So please take a few moments to rate these four tracks right
there on my home page.

Meanwhile, thanks to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I hope
your week ahead earns a very high rating! ;-)
