The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors which they think is the better "side" of each of the Pet Shop
Boys' studio albums. And the sides that received the most votes were:

* Please - Side 1 chosen by 78.0%
* Actually - Side 2 picked by 64.4% (the *only* album in which Side 2 "won")
* Introspective - Side 1 picked by 66.7%
* Behaviour - Side 1 selected by 65.2%
* Very - Side 1 chosen by 77.6%
* Bilingual - Side 1 picked by 53.4% (the "closest race")
* Nightlife - Side 1 selected by 89.5% (the most "lopsided race")
* Release - Side 1 chosen by 72.4%
* Fundamental - Side 1 picked by 59.7%
* Yes - Side 1 selected by 70.3%

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the left nav bar.

My new poll for the week ahead is somewhat distantly related, so to speak,
to this last question. And you can apply it to albums in general or just to
PSB albums, whichever you prefer. I'm wondering how important you believe
the track order of an album to be. Is the order of the tracks extremely
important? Is it not important at all? Do you think it was important at one
time, but not so much anymore? So please mull this over and, when you're
ready, make your choice from the options provided right there on my home
page.

Thanks to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I wish you all a
marvelous week ahead!

Wayne
