The former is EMI's responsibility, you'd think. The same thing happened with Minimal. Lily Allen has been whining about the same thing so it seems an EMI staple since they got taken over by a bunch of bean counters known as Terra Firma.

Regarding the latter, isn't the story that iTunes started selling the album too early (eg. Friday) rather than on the 23rd? Sales prior to Monday never count. That's not anything new.
