The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors which PSB song they consider to be the most "quintessentially
British." And the song that received the most votes (nearly twice as many
as the runner-up) was:

* "Dreaming of the Queen," with 26.4% of the total vote.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the left navigation bar.

My new poll is inspired by several emails I've received over the past few
weeks in which the writers expressed their frustration -- if not outright
anger -- over some recent events in the "world of PSB," most notably the
announcement that their next album would be "Disco 4" (which consists
mostly of tracks by other artists, merely remixed by Chris and Neil) and
the sudden cancellation, without explanation, of the Hollywood Bowl concert
originally scheduled for this coming Thursday. So I'm wondering whether
*you* are among those who are currently angry and/or upset with the Boys
and, if so, to what degree. So please, when you have a moment, register
your feelings right there on my home page. And thanks to those of you who
have written to me about this, most notably Tom in L.A. (who actually
suggested a similar poll question) and three others who have chosen to
remain anonymous.

Meanwhile, thanks also to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I
hope you all have a week ahead that isn't frustrating, angering, or
upsetting in the least!
