[Introspective] Reply regarding poll comments

Thank you so much for your recommendation that I archive the comments
submitted weekly by my poll participants. Several people have suggested
this previously, and I have to fall back on my previous response. My poll
provider doesn't provide any automated means of archiving the comments, and
for me to do the archiving myself "by hand" would entail a good deal of
additional work and maintenance on my part. My website already keeps me
awfully busy as it is, so I'm reluctant to start a new feature that would
ensure  a lot of additional work -- more than I already have -- for the
foreseeable future. Therefore I will regretfully set aside this otherwise
excellent idea.

Noting that, I do regularly select and post excerpts from comments with on
my "Past Survey Results" page when they involve "some other choice" or
"something else not listed here" votes.

So, at least for the time being, the wonderful comments that so many voters
submit in my polls will need to be read while the relevant poll is active.
I will, however, consider possible alternatives. If I can come up with a
means of archiving them that doesn't entail a lot of extra work, I'll go
for it.
