The final votes are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my site
visitors to select the three songs, of the thirteen that the Pet Shop Boys
have performed most often in concert -- all of which they've performed in
at least some of the shows of their current tour -- they would "banish"
from their next tour (if it were up to them and the Boys would perform
three other songs that they'd prefer in their place). And the three songs
that received the most votes for temporary "banishment" were:

* "Se A Vida É (That's the Way Life Is)," chosen by 34.2% of the voters,
* "Where the Streets Have No Name (I Can't Take My Eyes Off You)," chosen
by 33.4%, and
* "Go West," chosen by 25.5%

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the left navigation bar.

My new survey for the week ahead is something of a follow-up, once again
focusing on live performances, but this time zeroing in on the newest PSB
songs as opposed to the "classics." I'm wondering which one of the songs
(if any) from "Fundamental" that they've played on the current tour you
feel is most likely to become a recurring "concert staple," much like the
ones listed in last week's poll. Please mull this over and, when you're
ready, make your choice from the list right there on my home page. And
thanks to Mike for suggesting this question!

Thanks also to everyone who voted in this past week's survey. And I wish
you all a very pleasant week ahead!
