The final results are in for my poll this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors which ten -- and only ten -- Pet Shop Boys songs they would
want to have with them if they were stranded on a desert island. And the
ten songs that received the most votes were:

* "Being Boring," chosen by 52.7% of the voters (the only song picked by a
majority)
* "Always on My Mind," chosen by 29.2%
* "Left to My Own Devices," with 28.9%
* "It's a Sin," with 24.7%
* "West End Girls," with 23.5%
* "Can You Forgive Her?" with 22.0%
* "King's Cross," with 17.8%
* "Domino Dancing," with 16.3%
* "Go West," with 16.3%
* "Integral," with 16.3%

The biggest surprise for me was "Domino Dancing" -- I would never have
guessed that it would wind up in the "top ten." At any rate, to see the
complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Survey Results" button
in the left navigation bar.

My new poll for the week ahead is a "sequel" of sorts. Let's say you're
back on that desert island again. This time, however, you can have with you
*any* ten songs of your choosing, by *any* artist(s). How many of those ten
songs would be by the Pet Shop Boys? (You don't have to name them -- simply
pick a number from 0 to 10.) So, when you're ready, please make your choice
right there on my home page.

Thanks to everyone who voted in this past week's survey! And I hope you all
have a superb week ahead!

Wayne
