As the original sender I agree, I probably look at the official site once a
month, and introspective used to be where all the news was.
Maybe a state of how we move on and use other methods. So maybe we need to
kick a bit more life into it, if Ali who seems to read the
official site daily would like to volunteer to post any new news, then
kickass. we'll get things jumpstarted again

Subject: [Introspective] Official Site and Introspective

I don't mean any disrespect for Ali, a longtime member of Introspective.
But is there really anything wrong with reporting news from the PSB official
site on Introspective?

I for one do not visit the site every day (or every week for that matter),
and I was very excited to get the news about the US tour on Introspective.
One of the main reasons why I joined Introspective lo so many years ago was
to have news about the Boys delivered to my email Inbox, which I check much
more than any website. I appreciate it very much when people report news
from the official site on this list, or when I am directed to the site by a
post (as for example when I asked what "The Resurrectionist" is about).

Once upon a time there was an email newsletter that would be sent from the
official site anytime big news was added. Whatever happened to that?
(There still is an email list, but that's only to announce new releases and
such, right? I assume I'm on it, because I still get Pet Shop Boys emails
occasionally. Or is there another newsletter of which I'm not aware?)

To conclude, I just want to say that I support very much anyone who wants to
help other fans out by posting news from the Official site to Introspective.
It's not like our Inboxes are flooded with Introspective emails anyway!

cheers,
andy : )

Is this really news? The North American tour info has been on the PSB
official site for weeks now.

But I'm excited nontheless. I'm looking at the Boston, NYC, and posssibly
the LA shows.
