Well, I had to completely rebuild my computer system today, but at least
I'm now finally able to access the Internet again from my home computer as
well as send and receive email. (Thanks to those of you who offered
well-wishes!) So I can now report on the final results of my poll this past
week, in which I asked my site visitors to choose their favorite and least
favorite songs from the Pet Shop Boys' album "Behaviour." And the top
vote-getters were:

* "Being Boring," with 40.1% of the votes for favorite song, and

* "How Can You Expect to Be Taken Seriously," with 19.0% of the votes for
least favorite song.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click on the "Survey Results"
button in the left navigation bar.

Because I'm going to be out of town next weekend and won't have access to
my computer, I'm going to have a two-week "intermission" in my current
series of album-by-album favorite/least favorite songs polls. Instead, my
new survey, which will run for two weeks, focuses on the upcoming CD
release of the Pet Shop Boys' score for the film "The Battleship Potemkin."
In short, I'm wondering whether you're planning on buying it. (True, it may
seem like a silly question to many die-hard fans, but on the other hand
I've heard from some who say they're not so sure about it.) So please take
a moment to register your purchase plans, so to speak, right there on my
home page. (And then, when I return from my trip, I'll prepare my *next*
favorite/least favorite poll for the album "Very.")

Thanks to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I hope you all have
a fantastic week ahead -- in fact, a fantastic *two* weeks!
