The final results are in of my Pet Shop Boys survey this past week, in
which I asked my site visitors what they think of the news that Neil and
Chris have written and will perform live and record a complete score for
the 1925 silent film "Battleship Potemkin." And the response that received
the most votes was:

* "It's a brilliant idea! I can't wait to hear it!" with 48.1% of the total
vote.

In fact, very few voters seemed to have any negative feelings about it at
all. To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click on the link to "Past Survey
Results" in the left navigation bar.

More than two years ago I asked a "demographic" question regarding the
geographic distribution of my site visitors around the world. Since then
I've often wondered (and have been asked via email on several occasions)
about the distribution within the United States. Is PSB fandom in the U.S.
more of an East Coast thing or a West Coast thing? Northern or Southern? Or
is it rather evenly distributed? So my new survey question for the week
ahead focuses on PSB fans in the U.S. -- In what U.S. state or territory do
you live? Of course, for those of you who don't live in the U.S., there's a
"default" choice, "I don't live in the U.S." So please take a moment to
take part in this poll right there on my home page.

Thanks to everyone who voted in last week's survey! And I hope you all have
a marvelous week ahead!

Wayne
