Berwick Street in Soho is your best bet: Reckless Records, Select-a-disc and
Sister Ray all have a good 2nd hand selection (including some PSB). There
are also loads of specialist shops around this area: Daddy Kool, BlackMarket,
and some other trendy ones I never venture inside. Just wander around the
streets and you'll find 'em.
On Berwick St, there's also a Music&Video Exchange which is good, but there's
more and a better selection at the Notting Hill branches (Notting Hill Gate
tube). They have about 6 shops which sell everything from PCs to clothes,
but also some great old instruments and loads of unusual and usual music.
Markets are the other options for 2nd hand records: I'm not an expert, but
Camden and the Portobello Road could be worthwhile, or Brixton if you like
your reggae.
Oh, and HMV on Oxford St. is worth a look. It still sells a lot of vinyl and
carries a good range.
