[clamassassin-discuss] lost mails with /tmp full

Recently my /tmp partition was full (0 bytes free).

As clamassassin uses /tmp, it couldn't use clamscan to write temp files
for scanning there etc.

So what I received, was something like that (it's full message - in fact
it's only a header - it was ClamAssassin 1.1.0):

 From - Fri Apr 22 20:04:53 2005
X-Account-Key: account1
X-UIDL: UID1149-1091551977
X-Mozilla-Status: 0001
X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000
X-Virus-Status: Failed
X-Virus-Report: /usr/bin/clamscan error 50
X-Virus-Checker-Version: ClamAssassin 1.1.0 with ClamAV 0.84rc2/849/Fri
Apr 22 17:52:53 2005

So my original message was gone; I don't think it's that great.

Expected behaviour:

- mail is delivered without scanning (at least it's not lost, it might
be something important),
- a second mail is sent either to the original recipient, or, to an
administrator specified (like ADMIN=some at mail).

What do you think?

Tomek
