The final results are in for my survey this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors when was the last time they listened to Pet Shop Boys music in
a "physical" format, such as CD, vinyl, or tape, as opposed to digital files
on a computer, smartphone, mp3 player, or other such device. And the
response that received the largest number of votes was:

* "More than a month ago, but sometime during the past year," selected by
exactly 20% of the voters.

To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and select one of the "Past Survey
Results" options in the top navigation bar or click the appropriate link on
my "What's New?" page.

My new poll for the week ahead is inspired by the fact that over the past
few months several different site visitors have written to suggest that I
ask you to pick what you consider to be the best opening or closing tracks
on a PSB album. As I replied to them, I've actually asked those questions
before. To be sure, I'll almost certainly ask again, but I would prefer to
wait for at least another album or two before doing so. But it made me think
of an interesting variation on those questions: to combine them by asking
you to choose what you regard as the best combination of opening and closing
tracks -- the best PSB studio album "bookends," so to speak. So please take
a moment to make your choice right there on my home page. And thanks to
those of you whose suggestions made me think of this variation.

Thanks as well to everyone who voted in last week's survey! I hope you all
have a wonderful week ahead!

Wayne
