[Introspective] Prom

Just came back from London - what a beautiful city, what a beautiful hall, what a fascinating experience!!!! As Kirsty wrote, Love is a Catastrophe was unexpectedly (?) thrilling, as well as Vocal and duetted Rent and ....... everything else. :)

I had a great seat up there as well but simply HAD TO go down to the arena to be as close as possible. Which, eventually, happened and I was just a couple of steps fom the stage. :)

Maybe just a smaaaaal and only "imperfection" in my ears... I'd like to hear a little bit more Chris and his electronics in The Man from the Future piece.

I would also like to thank Derek - and his mate Andy, naturally :) - for sharing the files - I'm there again!!!! :)

Read you,

Zdenek

I was and was so excited to have the best seats in the house (a Loggia box!)

My brief twitter review:

Pet Shop Boys Prom last night was incredible. Chrissie Hynde singing 'Love is a Catastrophe' had me in bits, she & Neil doing 'Ren't: WOAH.

The PSB Turing piece was understated & powerful, a gorgeous balance of orchestra, choir, electronics & Juliet Stevenson's perfect narration

What an evening.
I still have to properly process it.
