The final results are in for my survey this past week, in which I asked my
site visitors to choose up to five songs from the Pet Shop Boys' studio
albums that they have never performed in concert but which they (the voters)
would *most* like for the Boys to perform on their 2013 tour. And the five
songs that received the most votes were:
* "Fugitive," picked by 31.9% of the voters,
* "It Couldn't Happen Here," chosen by 28.1%,
* "I Want to Wake Up," picked by 27.4%,
* "The End of the World," selected by 25.7%, and
* "It Always Comes as a Surprise," chosen by 24.2%.
To see the complete results, please visit my "Commentary" site at
http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and click the "Past Survey Results"
button in the navigation bar.
While we're still waiting for the release of "Elysium" in various countries
and for more of us fans to buy and "absorb" it, I'll hold off on asking any
new questions related to that album and move forward with the promised
"sequel" to last week's poll. So this week I'm asking the same question
about songs from the two b-sides collections, "Alternative" and "Format,"
that Chris and Neil have never performed live. Which of *them* would you
most like for the Boys to perform in 2013? So pull check out the list right
there on my home page and make your choices. And thanks again to Robert
Schulz for inspiring this question!
Thanks as well to everyone who voted in last week's survey! I hope you all
have a fantastic week ahead. And happy Elysium-listening!
Wayne
